Enabling Cookies


In order to use the StatsOnSport website you will need to have cookies enabled. Most users will already have them enabled, but if you are having problems logging in, constantly being logged out, or being denied access to pages when you are a member, then this may be the problem.

Using Internet Explorer

  • Go to Tools > Internet Options and select the Privacy tab
  • Click on the Advanced button
  • Tick the "Override automatic cookie handling" box
  • Tick the "Always allow session cookies" box
  • Click OK and OK again

Using Firefox

  • Go to Tools > Options and click the Privacy icon
  • Select the Cookies tab
  • Tick the "Allow Sites to set Cookies" box
  • Click OK


Clearing Cache


If you think that a page is not displaying the latest content, or your browser is very slow to load pages, you may be having problems with your cache.

Using Internet Explorer

  • Go to Tools > Internet Options
  • Click on "Delete Cookies..."
  • Click on "Settings"
  • Where it says "Check for newer versions of stored pages", check the "Automatically" option
  • Click OK and OK again

Using Firefox

  • Go to Tools > Options and click the Privacy icon
  • Select the Cookies tab
  • Click on "Clear Cookies Now"
  • Click OK


Viewing PDFs


If you are having problems viewing PDFs you will need to go to the Adobe website and download the latest version of Adobe Reader.

Text Size


Occasionally the text on a page may seem almost too small to read or larger than normal. This is due to your browser text settings, which may have accidentally been changed.

Using Internet Explorer

  • Go to View > Text Size
  • Select Medium

Using Firefox

  • Go to View > Text Size
  • Select Normal
